Arriving November 20, both titles are available for pre-order/pre-save today. The LP formats are remastered from the original tapes (AAA), pressed on 180-gram vinyl at QRP in partnership with Acoustic Sounds, and housed in tip-on jackets. Both albums also appear newly remastered in crystal-clear hi-res and standard digital audio. Stream advance singles “Telephone Blues“ and “Killin’ Floor” now.

Sonny Terry – Sonny’s Story (1960): Harmonica legend and singer, Sonny Terry takes center stage on originals like “High Powered Woman” and “My Baby Done Gone.” Terry’s rural harmonica style, often mimicking a train, adds emotion to his Piedmont Blues.

Brownie McGhee – Brownie’s Blues (1962): McGhee’s versatile folk and jump blues guitar shines on “Jump Little Children,” “The Killin’ Floor,” and “Lonesome Day.” This album makes his guitar mastery sound easy.
